I have a new layout~ Okay, not that new but I guess most of you haven't seen it yet cause last post was about DBSK and I know almost no one reads it XD

[livejournal.com profile] thier_sess

This is once again a "I must write about that before it seems like it never happened" post. (And once again - it's already too late but let's try anyway~)

So, I spent a really awesome week in Szczecin with some of my favourite people - namely [livejournal.com profile] tsunami_pl, [livejournal.com profile] yurete and Agata (who needs to have some account somewhere and soon). Tsu went there a day earlier than me (thanks to Polish State Railways malfunctioning) so when they picked me up at the station, her and Yurete already were high and sprouting some lovely nonsense about B2ST as railway workers. (Don't ask me about the details because I don't know - but I demand one of you to write at least about it! XD) And "Lee Joon is lovely~~~~", indeed, lol.

Wae wae wae )

I made my mom watch some B2ST with me and she seems to think Hyunseung's the ugliest person in k-pop, or something, lol.

We also watched DBSK's "Five in The Black" concert together and it was lovely. Ah, Proud. ;; My boys still younger and more or less carefree. ;;
sessho: (z - + - + -)
So it seems it's my mom's way of coping. But she still insists that she's going to call Homin 'zdradzieckie pachołki SM' because omg, that's so funny. (And I think she does hold it against me that I like Homin more but well, it's not something I can control.)

Anyway, I remembered what I've wanted to write about!

Kanjani8. What a surprise, isn't it? ;)

I can't forget your tender voice )

Also, an anecdote - two weeks ago or something during boring as always classes from philosophy, I noticed some band on the screen of some girl's notebook (we're usually sitting at the back). Judging by the distance between the performers and the audience, I figured it must've been some Korean boysband. My suspicions turned out to be true when the girl started typing in huge hangul. XDD Being not-really-that-shy person that I am after the classes finally ended, I ran up to her and her friend and asked what was that group. And yes, that was DBSK. XD They're stalking me!

That's all, I guess. I mean I could write more and were going to at first but this stuff is not really worth it. XD (I slept too little and my eyes hurt today.)

Oh, I started reading Hikaru no Go once again. I love this manga <3 I don't even remember how many times I read it before. <3
sessho: (happy)
Quite interesting and funny thing happened today. Two connected to each other things, to be exact.

So first we were waiting for our very-boring-classes and suddenly M. said something that surprised me - that most of the people from our studies hate S-sensei and we seem to be the only year that doesn't harbour any hatred towards her. I haven't heard that before so I couldn't believe but there were some fourthyears waiting for their classes near us, so M. - being his normal, sometimes very, very frank self - just asked one of those girls if they hated S. XD She joked if there was any diplomatic answer to that kind of question but eventually said that they did. She asked several of the 4thyears on our behalf while they were coming in and well, let's say that they were rather unanimous, lol. In fact, most of them were rather shocked how can we NOT dislike her. And they couldn't imagine how our lessons with her must look like since, apparently, in their classes sometimes they can't understand her. And those are some composition writing classes too so it adds to their dislike to her even more.
Personally, I find S-sensei to be a cute person but not really a good teacher. (Her lessons are one of the most boring that we have. That may have something to do with the materials we work on, though. Creepy/creepily hilarious videos from the 80s. XD) But I'd never guess that she's that hated at our university.

So that's the one thing.

After classes me and Emilka went to bathroom and coincidentally we met some of those girls there as well. While I was washing my hands, I heard them talking about something that immediately piqued my curiosity - how one of them wrote one of her compositions about Korean singers in Japan. Of course, I couldn't let it pass and asked if they were k-pop fans and the girl answered that yes, she and one other girls (named like me XD) were! Then she asked if I were and I said the truth. Then she asked what was my favourite group and when I (and E.) answered with 'DBSK' (and SJ for me) she procceeded with hugging me. XD Then while she was almost inside the stall she asked (with a hint of something harsher underneath and honestly, I'm not surprised) if I picked any side and I said that I didn't, though of course I had my favourites. I said mine and she gave me a thumb up and she said hers (who turned out to be no one other than our dear snarky maknae, Changmin) so I gave her a thumb up too. XD
And it turned out that S-sensei knows DBSK, too. (I joked that Jaejoong must be her bias. XD Don't why him. XD)

Yay for interested in k-pop senpais! :DDDD Scratch that part about k-pop, YAY for interested in DBSK senpais! Maybe they're not all that hopeless as current secondyears.

I tried to find her in our group on fb but she gave my only her nickname so, of course, I couldn't. But yay anyway 8D

So you could say that today was the day that marked my (and probably not only) first actual interaction with my senpais from Japanese Studies. XD And what an interaction that was. Worth waiting for so long, let me tell you that. ;)

And now I should finally get around to studying grammar, I guess. Given that I have a test tomorrow and I'm not really prepared too well for it. Too much of procrastinating during this semester.

First things first aka what I forgot about in yesterday's entry. What do Dongwoon and Doojon do? Like, seriously. I admit I haven't really watched Beast performances but even then I know that Yoseob's main vocal, that Hyunseung and Kikwang supposedly are good at singing too (Hyunseung does also dancing?), that Junhyung's a rapper (and that I probably enjoy his rap very very much if it's him rapping near the beginning of Shock (can't breath, life freeze etc.). I watched that something from Japan (Unlimited Edition or w/e?) today and Dongwoon sang something too but. What do him and Doojoon do? Are they vocals? Visuals? It's bugging me.

And now for the main point of this post.

Yunho and Heechul. What do they have in common besides the rather known fact that they're friends? That's not the point but I was wondering about something and would like to try and give my musings some actual shape.

Rambling )

Am I reading too much into that? Who knows, maybe. Not like it's ever stopped me before. And, like always, it looked much better in my head.

Have an awesome Yunjae fanvid.

That's all, I guess. Going to post it on tumblr, as well.

And in a moment - camwhoring post of sorts. Await it? Lol.
sessho: (:))
Eh, I wanted to write an entry but now I don't know what to start with. XD

> Last monday there was a performance of a Japanese female choir in philharmonic. They sang so beautifully &hearts And they sang and danced in pink tracksuits at the end. XD When we were on our way home with Szczupak, Tać and Emilka, we came to conclusion that it's such an Asian thing - if the Polish choir (that performed too) came out in such outfits, we'd be like 'omg, so lame' but on them it seemed so cute and *_* Straaaange.

Life )

Okay, fandom stuff.

I started getting to know Beast. I still have seen only several episodes of Beast Almighty but I rather like the boys. I still insist that they're a bit mentally handicapped but they seem so likable and cute. I forced mom to watch them with me (she protested a lot, because no, she doesn't want an another boysband, no thank you). She claims that Hyunseung is ugly but she called Yoseob quite pretty. Mom, where are your eyes? XD I love Yoseob (he may be my tentative favourite right now cause he's so adorable and seems awesome in all the gifs I've seen of him) but I wouldn't call him pretty. XD Anyway, she liked them, I guess. I'm interested in them too but it doesn't look like I'm going to become a big stan anytime soon. (Considering how slowly my watching them is going. XD) But I sort of like them, it's a start, right? XD

What else... Stanning Yunho harder and harder? XD That's me.
Evidence materials (once again - for my own reference, mainly):
> Musings tag on tumblr + skating!Yunho
> Thoughts on Before U Go performance from the 25th

What else... I really don't know.

Oh, I told [livejournal.com profile] tsunami_pl that I'll try making a list of Korean men that I'd maybe be able to call oppa and not gag doing this.
So.
1. Yunho. Kind of a given, I think?
2. Inati. But he was the first that I thought about. Idk, Inati's a bit different. I respect him in a different way than other k-popers.
3. David (Day Day). Because he's awesome.
4. Changmin. Only if I worked in SMEnt or something, though. XD

But 'oppa' is still a big no. I'm just not comfortable with connotations that this term has attached to it.

Anyway, I was wondering. Some people fantasize about being with their biases and what not and I like to think sometimes how it'd be to be able to go to a fansign event someday. Given that I'm studying Japanese right now, I think it's safe to assume that in a few years span I'll be able to use it quite comfortably. So let's say that theoritically I could say something to either Yunho or Changmin and be understood. But here is the thing - how do Japanese fans call them? (Call the members of DBSK, in general.) -kun? -san? Rather not 'oppa', do they? I'd be strange to call Yunho "kun" but "san" would be equally weird. Do they use just their names? But that would defy Japanese worldview. XD Hm, hm.

Okay, brain still refusing to cooperate. See you later. &hearts

Oh, and I started buying the Polish edition of One Piece! I love this title to pieces, it's good to be reminded of that.
sessho: (curious)
> I activated this paid account trial thing. :) Woah, it's so strange to have 15 more icon spots. I couldn't even fill them all - I'm so used to limiting myself. XD (And I'm the most undecided person on the Earth XD)
I also wanted to set a header here but I don't know how. :| Here are instructions but I just don't know anyway HELP, ANYONE?

> This Thursday I met up with [livejournal.com profile] xerophine. We had a pizza, talked about fandom stuff and then went to my place where it first turned out that Katsu took only one of promised DVDs with 2PM stuff and then that the one she did take, was empty. XDDD I had a great laugh and Katsu - a great embarrassment. <3 XDDD So we watched some SuJu and DBSK stuff instead~

> I SHOULD BE STUDYING KANJIS.

> For the frist time since months, I read a book just for my pleasure. (King's Pet Sematary if you're curious.) Months. It's such a sad and embarrassing thing. :| Before I used to tell myself that I'll read something after this kanji test or another but since now we have those every two weeks, I decided not to use that excuse anymore. Books are too good to throw reading away only because I'm so addicted to the computer and Internet.
Next few days I really should focus on kanjis only because I have a test this Wednesday but after it - it all depends just on my time management.

> My thoughts on Homin's 'Before U Go' (aka BUG XD) performances: here, here and here - if anyone's curious and for my own future reference.

And meme from [livejournal.com profile] jenny_rose

So, long time no see? (Read? Write?) Only not really because I'm spamming my twitter daily. XD

How do we call session in English? I don't know. ;; Exams, finals? Anyway, around half of those are already done for me. Now onto the more important half as this week I'll be having my exams from PNJ, grammar, conversation and such. And geography, oh no.
Honestly, I don't get my professors - this was was the 1st week and we had only 1 - ONE - exam. And in the upcoming we have 6 exams - 2 or 3 (depending how I'll decide because we can choose with which group we're writing geography) on one day. That's what you call the lack of proper organisation.

Anyway, the exams aren't what worries me the most. It's the fact that my mom and brother are down with grippe intestinale (grypa żołądkowa) and no way am I going to come out of it unscathed. I try to keep away from them but I doubt it'll work. Damn, they could've told me as they were already feeling unwell on the day when I returned. If I knew, I would've stayed in Warsaw. And now I can only hope that it'll get me after I'm done with the exams. But it's unlikely as I have the last one on Saturday. (Or Thursday, if I choose to go to other group's exam but I already have two other exams on that day, so it's not an encouraging perspective.)
Anyway, sucks to be me. ;;

What else.... I spent whole Tuesday with [livejournal.com profile] szani, studying at BUW. It was quite nice and maybe I'll do it more often~ (although I was freezing for almost the whole time XD).

I scored a big, juicy fail once while I was commuting to where I have PE. The tram I usually take goes all the way and when it was going to the last station, I was already all alone in the car. When I tried to get out, I couldn't open the door, no matter how how I tried, the button didn't work, so I had to use that emergency handle and the whole tram started giving out this shrilling sound. The driver was quite pissed off but I explained that the door didn't want to open, so I hadn't had a choice. So basically nothing happened after all but it was an unpleasant experience nonetheless.

What else... I don't remember. XD I recall having wanted to write something every now and then in those past weeks, but now my head's empty. XD
When I really had to share something longer, I used my twitlonger, so go there for some posts and randoms.~ (I especially recommend this one XD)

As for fandom, I'm actively fangirling over Yunho, Changmin and their DBSK now. <3 I'm loving all those performances and promotions. I'm also still fangirling over SuJu, only less actively because their activities are not the ones that I can watch. ;; (But at least there are lots of photos~)

And yesterday I spent several hours reading this site which's trying to show SM/JYJ issue from a different perspective. I really appreciate this additional point of view and I really recommend everyone interested to read it. While I'm sure not everyone'll like it (and I myself also try not to jump to conclusions as it's been done way too often in this fandom and it's been only damaging so far) but even if you won't like or agree with the opinions that are showed there, I still think it's a must read. The person that's running the site is Korean-American and he translates all the relevant documents (taken directly from, e.g. FTC or the court's websites) and stuff and most of all - he translates them whole, and not only some carefully chosen scraps.
I find all of this really facinating.

What else.... Oh, I have so many shiny stuff downloaded but I can't watch them because mom's ill (so she's off the limits XD) and she'd be mad if I watched them by myself. Arashi's concert ;; DBSK's various programmes. ;; And I found this site which translates various Korean shows and it has some SuJu ones that I've always wanted to watch! And yes, I know that most of you have probably already known it but I'm just that quick.

I don't recall anything else, so there you are~

In other news:

> Slowly making friends at tumblr~ (Well, trying to, anyway.)

> Still in love with Donghae and Ryeowook's duet for Hae's drama. Non-k-pop-flist - you can listen to it here. And fall in love with the song while you're at it because it's so pretty and sweet and warm.

> KRS' song for Sungmin's President drama OST was a disappointment, though. It was so typical and I just didn't feel that song at all. A pity - I've been on a good streak with OST songs in those last days - Homin's Athena (which I still don't know a title of XD) and their teaser "Torn", D&R's Just like now. I was hoping KRS' "Biting my lips" would be as good. Eh, you can't have everything, I guess~ (Still waiting for Luna and Yesung's duet for President <3)

< I took part in this project for Zhou Mi~ :D Here's my submission. (Nothing special, I know but I put my heart in it. XDD And holding crayons in my hand felt so strange. Last time I've done that was probably in junior high. XD)

> Yesterday I was in a real spamming mood what most of you probably couldn't not notice. XD

> Today I'm reading fics. DBSK ones, quite decently written. (Though one ended in a really mean moment. Or rather - was cut off. "To be continued", heh.)

> Leeteuk, sleep! It hurts looking at you right now.

> Heenim's been talking about Ryeowook often lately. :) It seems they got closer after they started living on the same floor. <3 His story about Wookie's and his dramas watching was hilarious. XD

So, reposting this from twitlonger (longer indeed XD) and tumblr because here it should be the easiest to find it in the future. Should I want to remind myself what I've used to think in general and on that particular affair.

And here I've found more of those articles: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/7iv2k2

EDIT.
I've re-read it and I see I forgot about one thing while writing it.

In the whole paragraph with all that 'all that joy...' was supposed to be something like this: "And they (the fans) completely disregard or maybe truly don't notice the consequences and implications that this statement holds when it comes to Homin. Like the fact that JYJ said that they still believe in five of them being together in the future overshadows completely their previous words".

Stay with me )

XD

Brawo, Sessho. XD

Mój poziom hemoglobiny wynosił 123 (cokolwiek to oznacza, bo wszędzie piszą w g/dl), a 125 to dolna granica.
